Drive-In Movie

I recently found out that there was a functioning Drive-In Theatre in Goochland. Only about 15 minutes east of the West End of Richmond. So… I had to go, especially with the convertible. Here are some pics

Uh oh, the movie’s starting… While the theater does show current movies, we were there on retro movie night. I’m not sure if they always start with cartoons, but this night they did.

One of the cartoons was a Dick Tracy episode. It was SUPER politically incorrect. The above picture is Tracy’s man on the ground “Joe Jitsu.” Complete with Kung Fu knowledge and stereotypical L/R speech impediments.

I absolutely had to include this as well. It’s called the “Goochdog” and is the concession stand specialty. And yes, it is a hotdog WITH macaroni and cheese.
